Reliable Android Video Backup for High-Resolution Media

Videos consume a massive amount of storage, especially with modern smartphones shooting in 4K and 8K. Managing this space while ensuring your videos are safe requires a specialized Android video backup solution. QuixiCloud is built specifically to handle large media files without breaking a sweat.

Uncompressed, Original Quality Video Backup

The biggest frustration with video backup services is the inevitable loss of quality. QuixiCloud stands apart by promising that it never compresses your files. Your videos are backed up in their pure, raw original quality.

Unstoppable Background Uploads

Uploading gigabytes of video requires a reliable background process. QuixiCloud utilizes a Foreground MirrorService combined with WorkManager to ensure that your Android video backup is never killed by aggressive battery managers. The app observes new videos instantly via the Android MediaStoreObserver and logs them using local persistence (Room DB).

Once the upload is safely completed and encrypted via privacy-focused AES-256-GCM, QuixiCloud’s Auto-Reclaim feature can clear the heavy video files from your device, instantly freeing up gigabytes of space. With strict anti-backup rules against Google Cloud and no ads, your videos remain yours alone.
